Quick answer: a gambling tracker is a simple log of every session: what you put in, what you came away with and how long you played. Ours below is free, works on any phone or computer like an app with no download or sign-up, and keeps your log on your own device. It shows your net result, your average per session, how many sessions you won and the RTP you actually got.
Free gambling tracker: log wins and losses
Add a session after you play. “Money in” is what you deposited or bought in with; “money out” is what you withdrew or walked away with, even if that is zero. Minutes and total bets are optional, but they unlock your cost per hour and the RTP you got.
| Date | Game | Net | Delete |
|---|
Your sessions will appear here.
Your log stays in this browser on this device. We never see it. Clearing your browser data deletes it, so export a CSV backup now and then.
- Log every session, wins and losses alike. A log that skips the bad nights tells you nothing.
- Find “total bets” in the casino’s transaction or bet history. It is the total you staked, not what you deposited, and it is what the RTP figure needs.
- Set a monthly loss limit if you want a warning. Our gambling budget calculator helps you pick a number you can afford.
- Export a CSV backup now and then. Use “Import a CSV backup” to move your log to a new phone, or open the file in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Want it on your home screen? Use your browser’s share or menu button to add this page, and it opens like an app.
How the tracker keeps your data private
Everything you type stays in your browser’s own storage on this device. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else, there is no account, and we can’t see your log. That also means:
- Your log does not sync between devices. Export it on one and import it on the other.
- Clearing your browsing data, or using a private window, deletes it. Export first.
- The “Delete all” button wipes every session from this device straight away, and the × next to a session deletes just that one.
What your numbers mean
| Number | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Net result | Money out minus money in for the period you chose. This is the number that matters. |
| Avg / session | Your net result divided by the number of sessions: what a typical session costs you, or makes you. |
| Winning sessions | The share of sessions you finished ahead. Many winning sessions can still add up to a loss if the losing ones are bigger. |
| Time played and cost per hour | When you are down, the tracker divides the loss by the hours played. It is a fair way to compare gambling with other things you pay for. |
| RTP you got | (Total bets + net result) ÷ total bets, for sessions where you entered total bets. Over a few sessions it swings far above or below the game’s published RTP; over thousands of spins it drifts towards it. Look up a slot’s published figure with our slot RTP checker. |
| Monthly loss limit | How much of your limit is left this month, counting only this calendar month. |
For example, a slot session where you put in €50, staked €400 in total and came away with €30 shows a net result of −€20 and an RTP you got of 95% (€380 back from €400 staked).
Gambling tracker apps compared
Most apps sold as bet trackers only follow sports bets, and budget apps track all your spending rather than gambling sessions. Here is how the main options compare (US prices, checked October 2026):

Support services such as Gambling Therapy suggest a gambling diary that also notes how you felt and what made you want to play. Our tracker has a short note box for that. To stop gambling rather than track it, see how to block gambling sites and payments.
Use your log at tax time
In the US, the IRS asks you to keep “an accurate diary or similar record” of your gambling: the date and type of each wager, the name and address of the place, who was with you, and the amounts won and lost, kept with your W-2G forms, tickets and statements. Our CSV export gives you the dates, games and amounts; add the other details in the note box or your own records.
- US, from tax year 2026: you can deduct only 90% of your gambling losses, and only up to the amount of your winnings, if you itemize. Check the current rules before you file.
- UK: players don’t pay tax on gambling winnings, whatever the amount.
- Everywhere else: rules differ, so check with your tax authority.
This is general information, not tax advice.

Last checked: 20 October 2026, when we tested the tracker in a phone-sized browser (adding, deleting, exporting and re-importing a log, and the monthly limit) and checked each app and tax fact against at least two independent sources.
Gambling is for adults (18+) only. If it stops being fun, free and confidential help is listed on our responsible gambling page.
Gambling tracker FAQs
Is there an app to track gambling wins and losses?
Yes. Our free tracker on this page works in any browser and handles casino, sports and other gambling. Sports bettors can also use apps such as Pikkit or Juice Reel, which sync with sportsbook accounts.
Is my data saved anywhere?
Only in your browser on this device. We never receive it. Export a CSV backup if you want a copy, because clearing your browser data deletes the log.
How do I track gambling losses for taxes?
Keep a dated record of every session with the amounts won and lost, and keep your W-2G forms, tickets and statements. In the US, from tax year 2026, only 90% of losses can be deducted, and only up to your winnings.
How do I know if my gambling is a problem?
Warning signs include chasing losses, spending more than you planned and hiding your gambling. Take our free problem gambling test, read how fast crash games can get out of hand in our guide to Aviator addiction, and see our responsible gambling guide for free helplines.
Check your local laws before you play
Online gambling laws differ from country to country, and in some places it is restricted or not permitted at all. Before you sign up to any casino listed on UltraGambler, check that online gambling is legal where you live and that the casino accepts players from your country. You must be 18 or older (or the legal gambling age in your country, if higher) to play. Only gamble with money you can afford to lose, and use the deposit limits and self-exclusion tools your casino provides if gambling stops being fun.
