How casino cashback works, what wagering does to its value, and the cashback offers at the casinos we rate, from 1win’s up to 30% weekly to 10% daily plus weekly at Immerion and Snatch.
Casino Cashback Bonuses: How They Work and the Best Offers
Quick answer: A casino cashback bonus gives you back a percentage of your net losses over a set period, usually daily or weekly. Lose €200 in a week at 10% cashback and you get €20 back, normally as bonus money with a small wagering requirement. Of the casinos we rate, 1win pays the highest headline rate (up to 30% weekly on slot losses, 1x wagering), Immerion and Snatch give 10% daily plus 10% weekly, and iWild and Ybets have similar offers (checked 8 October 2026).
Best cashback we found: 1win

How does casino cashback work?
Casino cashback works out how much you lost over a period, takes a percentage of it and credits that to your account. Most offers use net losses: your real-money bets minus your real-money wins. If you deposit €300, win some and finish the week €200 down, your net loss is €200. At 10% cashback you get €20; if you finish the week in profit, you get nothing.
- Period: daily or weekly at most casinos; a few, such as FortuneJack, pay monthly.
- Percentage: 10% to 15% at most of the casinos we rate, up to 30% at 1win, and often higher at higher VIP levels.
- Form: usually bonus money that has to be wagered a few times before you can withdraw it; some casinos pay cash with no wagering.
- Limits: some offers cap the payout (for example €300 a week), need a minimum loss or deposit, or only count certain games.
- Claiming: daily cashback is often credited automatically but expires if you don’t claim it within 24 hours.

Casino cashback bonuses at the casinos we rate
We checked the cashback at every casino we review and list the ones where two independent sources agree on the terms:

|---|---|---|---|
| 1win (9.9) | Up to 30% of weekly slot losses | 1x at most (two sources say none) | Real-money slot losses only; paid Saturdays at 07:00 UTC |
| Immerion (9.8) | 10% daily + 10% weekly | None to 3x (sources differ) | Daily cashback expires after 24 hours |
| Snatch (9.8) | 10% daily + 10% weekly | 3x | Weekly covers Thursday to Wednesday |
| iWild (9.8) | 10% of net losses; up to 15% for VIPs | 3x | Real-money losses only |

Is a casino cashback bonus worth it?
Yes, when the wagering is low: cashback is one of the few bonuses that pays out after a losing run, and with 1x to 3x wagering most of it reaches your balance. With high wagering it is worth much less. Here is €20 of cashback (10% of a €200 loss) played on a slot with 96% RTP, where the average loss is 4% of everything you bet:
| Wagering on €20 cashback | Bets needed | Average loss while wagering | What you keep on average |
|---|---|---|---|
| None (cash) | €0 | €0 | €20.00 |
| 1x | €20 | €0.80 | €19.20 |
| 3x | €60 | €2.40 | €17.60 |
| 30x | €600 | €24.00 | Usually nothing: the average loss is more than the €20 |
So a 10% cashback with 3x wagering is worth far more than a bigger percentage with 30x. You can check other combinations in our wagering requirement calculator.
Cashback also doesn’t change the odds. A 10% refund on net losses only lowers the cost of a losing session; over time the house edge still works against you, so never play more to “earn” cashback. Our list of games with the lowest house edge shows where your money lasts longest.
Cashback vs rakeback vs reload bonuses
| Cashback | Rakeback | Reload bonus | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Based on | Your net losses | How much you bet | A new deposit |
| Paid when you win? | No | Yes | Yes, if you deposit |
| Example | Immerion 10% daily + 10% weekly | FortuneJack daily rakeback | FortuneJack 25% weekly reload from Silver level |

How to get the most from cashback
- Check that online gambling is legal where you live and that the casino accepts players from your country.
- Read the cashback terms: percentage, period, wagering, cap and which games count (1win, for example, only counts slots).
- Note when it’s paid and claim daily cashback within 24 hours, or it expires.
- Be careful with an active deposit bonus: cashback is usually worked out on real-money losses, so play with bonus money may not count.
- Set a loss limit first and treat cashback as a small refund on money you had already decided to spend.

How we checked this
We haven’t claimed cashback at these casinos with our own accounts. Each figure is checked against at least two independent sources, and where they disagree we give the range or leave the figure out:
- How cashback works (net losses, €200 at 10% = €20, daily or weekly, usually bonus money with wagering): Gambling.com and VIP-Grinders.
- 1win, up to 30% of weekly real-money slot losses, Saturdays at 07:00 UTC, 1x wagering: Casino.org and SoMuchPoker. PokerListings and VIP-Grinders list it with no wagering at all, so check the terms when you claim it.
- Immerion, 10% daily plus 10% weekly: VIP-Grinders and Sigma. Wagering is 3x on VIP-Grinders and none on Gambling.com, so we give the range. Daily cashback expiring after 24 hours: VIP-Grinders and Gambling.com Canada.
- Snatch, 10% daily plus 10% weekly (Thursday to Wednesday), 3x wagering: Gambling.com and VIP-Grinders.
- iWild, 10% of real-money net losses with 3x wagering: Gambling.com and VIP-Grinders; up to 15% for VIPs: Casino.org and Gambling.com Canada.
- Ybets, daily cashback plus 10% weekly (Thursday to Wednesday): Gambling.com and VIP-Grinders. Only one source gives the wagering, so we leave it out.
- FortuneJack, monthly cashback up to 15%, daily rakeback and the 25% weekly reload from Silver: Gambling.com and CryptoSlate.
- Wild Tokyo, 10% weekly on Mondays with 30x wagering: Casinos.com and Sigma; the €300 weekly cap: Casinos.com and Gambling.com.
- The “what you keep” table is our own maths: bets needed = cashback × wagering, and average loss = 4% of those bets at 96% RTP.
Figures last checked: 8 October 2026. Cashback terms change and depend on your country, so check each casino’s own terms and your local laws before you sign up. If gambling stops being fun, our responsible gambling guide lists ways to set limits.

A refund of a percentage of your net losses over a set period, usually daily or weekly. 10% cashback on a €200 loss gives you €20 back.
Which online casino has the best cashback?
Among the casinos we rate, 1win has the highest rate, up to 30% of weekly slot losses with 1x wagering. Immerion and Snatch give 10% daily plus 10% weekly with low wagering.
Does casino cashback have wagering requirements?
Usually, but they are low: 1x at 1win and 3x at Snatch and iWild. Some casinos ask for 30x, which makes the cashback worth much less.

Yes, once you meet any wagering requirement. Cashback paid as cash with no wagering can be withdrawn straight away.
Check your local laws before you play
Online gambling laws differ from country to country, and in some places it is restricted or not permitted at all. Before you sign up to any casino listed on UltraGambler, check that online gambling is legal where you live and that the casino accepts players from your country. You must be 18 or older (or the legal gambling age in your country, if higher) to play. Only gamble with money you can afford to lose, and use the deposit limits and self-exclusion tools your casino provides if gambling stops being fun.
