Quick verdict: Toshi Video Club is a Hacksaw Gaming slot from August 2021, set in a 1990s Japanese video store drawn in black-and-white pixel art. Wins cascade on a 5×5 grid, and Daruma dolls build a multiplier that never resets in free spins, which is where the 10,000x max win lives. It has a 96.17% RTP and high volatility.

Daruma multipliers
Wins cascade: winning symbols are removed and new ones fall in. Daruma dolls land during cascades and feed a multiplier shown above the reels, which applies to your wins.
| Daruma | Effect on the multiplier |
|---|---|
| Small | +1, +2 or +5 |
| Medium | +10, +15 or +20 |
| Big | +25, +50 or +100 |
| Green | Multiplies it by x2, x3, x4 or x5 |
In the base game the multiplier resets between paid spins, so big hits there need several Darumas in one cascade chain.
Free spins
3 or more scatters give 10 free spins. The difference from the base game is that the multiplier no longer resets between spins, so every Daruma that lands keeps adding to it for the rest of the round. None of the sources we checked describes a retrigger. Where bonus buys are allowed, the round costs 120x your bet; SlotCatalog says the buy is not offered in the UK.
Is it for you?
- Yes, if you like a retro look and bonus rounds that can snowball.
- Maybe not, if you want steady small wins: much of the upside sits in the free spins multiplier.
- Hacksaw released a sequel, Toshi Ways Club, in December 2025 with 6 reels and up to 1,000,000 ways, according to casinos.com and OLBG.
More games where the bonus does the heavy lifting are in our high-volatility slots guide, and other Hacksaw slots we cover include Chaos Crew and Dork Unit.
